Obama concedes a principle

Usually, it is we Republicans who concede the principle, but Jim Geraghty of NRO points out a rhetorical opportunity for Republicans. To fully exploit this opening, though, we can’t rely only on “because we can’t afford it.”  Exploiting it requires taking it to the next step: “we can’t afford it because it is based on wrong principles (Keynesian economics, for example) and it can never work.”
